Located up on a hill overlooking the surrounding town exists the lightly Catholic Astraea Hill which houses three private, prestigious girl’s schools, namely St. Miator Girl’s Academy, St. Spica Girl’s Institute, and St. Lulim Girl’s school. It was originally just a church, but since then expanded its existence to start St. Miator Girl’s Academy 100 years ago, which grew so much in popularity among wealthy girls, that two sister schools, the more sporty St. Spica Girl’s Institute, and the more relaxed St. Lulim Girl’s School, had been required to be built to catch the overflow. There is an elementary school portion of the Hill, but it is located separately from the main portion itself. Girls most typically start off as first years in the spring and attend until they reach their sixth year, where they graduation in the spring. The campus itself is run by a staff of nuns. No man may enter the grounds.

Known for its strict standards and old-fashioned methods, it is mostly comprised of girls from wealthy, distinguished families. The school itself is adorned by gothic spires and bears an architectural color scheme of yellow and pink/blue. Nicknamed the “Bridal Path” school, many girls who do attend are often engaged early on to men whom they will marry once they finish their education. St. Miator has the strictest of all three schools’ standards and have more focused on the dependent woman whom devotes herself to being a prim and proper figure, as one who would most likely be a fitting wife. It is the oldest and most well-known of the collection of schools, as it was the first, built over 100 years ago. It has a long withstanding rivalry with St. Spica Girl’s Institute, one of its two overflow sister schools.

Clubs in St. Miator range from ballroom dancing to flower arranging.
